TALLINN, Estonia - Kelsey Rocque's Edmonton rink earned wins over Russia and Sweden on Monday to keep the Canadian women undefeated at the 2015 World Junior Curling Championships.

Rocque, the defending champion, started the day with a 10-3 rout of Russia and followed with a 4-2 victory over the Swedes.

Leading 6-3 heading into the eighth end, Canada ended the game with a steal of four points.

It was a scrappier win against Sweden, where Rocque picked the Swedish shot rock off the button to give her team a two-point lead going into the 10th end. Canada then ran Sweden out of rocks for the 4-2 win.

"The way the score was we decided to keep it (more defensive)," said Rocque. "Sweden's a really good team, so we knew we'd have to keep it close."

Canada leads the women's standings at 4-0.

In men's action, Canada improved to 3-1 with a 10-1 win over host Estonia.

Braden Calvert's Winnipeg rink put the game away with a steal of four in the seventh end.

"It was a good game to sharpen our skills a little bit and start throwing better rocks than we did the day before," said Calvert.
