Ted Laurent stays in Hamilton
It took nearly seven hours, but it appears the biggest chip in this year's free agency period has fallen, with Canadian defensive tackle Ted Laurent reportedly signing a new contract with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Ticats make some signings
According to Drew Edwards of the Hamilton Spectator, the Hamilton TIger-Cats have agreed to terms with National wide receiver Andy Fantuz and International linebacker Alex Hoffman-Ellis. Fantuz of course was with the Ticats last year while Hoffman-Ellis was with the Lions. Edwards speculated either Hoffman-Ellis or Simoni Lawrence will play middle linebacker for the Ticats next year and the Hoffman-Ellis signing likely means Taylor Reed will not be back with the team.
