EDMONTON - Greg Prator is back with the Edmonton Eskimos.
The CFL club re-signed the import receiver Monday, just over a month after releasing him.
Prator went to training camp with Edmonton before being let go June 21.
But he gets a second chance with the Eskimos after veteran Jason Tucker suffered a season-ending neck injury during Friday night's 19-13 road win in Hamilton.
Tucker, 32, was taken off the field on a backboard and taken by ambulance to a Hamilton hospital. He underwent neck surgery Saturday night.
Tucker remains in a Hamilton hospital but Eskimos officials are hopeful he could be discharged by week's end and that he will make a complete recovery. However, there are questions whether Tucker will ever play football again.
