The NHL has fined Anaheim Ducks defenceman Josh Manson $2,486.56 for his inappropriate gesture towards Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nazem Kadri.
Manson was hit into the boards by Kadri late in the third period of Thursday's 6-5 Leafs victory. He showed his frustration by making a throat-slash gesture toward Kadri.
Manson was assessed a game misconduct, while Kadri was penalized for his hit.
Kadri was fined the maximum amount allowed under the CBA for giving a throat-slash gesture toward Calgary Flames defenceman Mark Giordano in February.
