Welterweight Kevin Gastelum has failed to make weight (170lbs) and will not fight Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone at UFC 205. The 13-2 fighter made the announcement on Twitter Friday, apologizing to his opponent and vowing not to miss weight again.

Welterweight Kevin Gastelum has failed to make weight (170lbs) and will not fight Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone at UFC 205.

The 13-2 fighter made the announcement on Twitter Friday, apologizing to his opponent and vowing not to miss weight again.

Gastelum is the fifth ranked welterweight in the UFC, and was set to fight Cerrone, ranked sixth, on the main card in New York Saturday night.
