Kings trade Ehrhoff to Blackhawks for Scuderi
The Los Angeles Kings have traded defenceman Christian Ehrhoff to the Chicago Blackhawks for defenceman Rob Scuderi. Ehrhoff appeared in 40 games this season for the Kings, while Scuderi played 17 games with the Blackhawks.

The Los Angeles Kings have traded defenceman Christian Ehrhoff to the Chicago Blackhawks for defenceman Rob Scuderi.
The Blackhawks retain 50% of their portion of Scuderi's contract (Penguins have already retained 33%), Kings retain 15% of Ehrhoff's contract.
Ehrhoff appeared in 40 games this season for the Kings and contributed two goals and eight assists with a -10 rating and 32 penalty minutes.
The 33-year-old also played five games with the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League and had three assists.
This was Ehrhoff’s first season with Kings, he’s also spent time with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Canucks and San Jose Sharks over his 781 game NHL career.
The 12-year veteran was waived by the Kings on February 10th, he signed a one-year, $1.5 million deal with the team in the offseason.
Scuderi played 17 games with the Blackhawks this season and was held pointless with a -6 rating.
The 37-year-old was acquired by the Blackhawks from the Penguins in December in a deal for Trevor Daley.
He was also pointless in three games with the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL.
Scuderi had four points in 25 games with the Penguins in 2015-16.
He will be owed $2.25M in 2016-17 before becoming an unrestricted free-agent.
