Andrei Vasilevskiy will get the call again in net for the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final.
The Lightning ruled out Ben Bishop for the second straight game on Wednesday, but head coach Jon Cooper said the starter is getting close to a return. Cooper added the team hoped to have Bishop take part in team's full practice session on Thursday. He staked before the team's practice on Wednesday.
Cooper also ruled out Steven Stamkos for Wednesday's contest, but said all other skaters were available, including Victor Hedman who missed Wednesday morning's optional skate. Stamkos also missed Wednesday's practice.
Bishop suffered a lower-body injury in Game 1 of the Lightning's series against the Pittsburgh Penguins and had to be stretchered off the ice. Vasilevskiy stopped 25 of 26 shots after coming on in relief of Bishop in the team's 3-2 victory in Game 1. He made 38 saves in the team's 3-2 overtime loss on Monday.
