Chris Bosh's sprained right knee will not allow him to participate at this weekend's NBA All-Star Game in Phoenix.

He has been replaced by Cleveland Cavaliers guard Mo Williams, who will be making his first All-Star appearance.

For Williams, getting the All-Star nod is gratifying as he felt snubbed by the whole process originally.  That feeling was amplified when Celtics' shooting guard Ray Allen got the call to replace Magic guard Jameer Nelson due to injury.

"It has a beautiful ring to it,'' Williams said before playing at Indiana. "I'm excited for myself and my teammates and the coaches. It's a great thing, it's one thing people can't take away from you."

Bosh left Wednesday's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in the fourth quarter but no structural damage was detected in the knee.  He remains day-to-day for the remainder of the Raptors' current three-game road trip.
