TAMPA, Fla. - The Tampa Bay Lightning signed unrestricted free agent forward Radim Vrbata to a $9-million, three-year contract Tuesday, and also agreed to terms with UFA forward Adam Hall on a 3-year deal for $1.8 million and goaltender Olaf Kolzig with a one-year, $1.5 million contract.

In 711 career games, all with the Washington Capitals, Kolzig went 301-293-86 with a 2.70 goals-against average and .906 save percentage.

"Olaf is a real stabilizer in the locker room and on the ice," Tampa Bay vice president of hockey operations Brian Lawton said. "With Karri Ramo, Olaf Kolzig and Mike Smith, we have a great deal of depth at the goaltending position, and we like all the options that allows us moving forward."

Vrbata had 56 points (27-29) in 76 games for the Phoenix Coyotes last season.

The 27-year-old Czech winger has 226 points (102-124) in 422 career NHL regular-season games.

Hall, a big forward at 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, played 46 games with Pittsburgh last season, scoring 2 goals and 4 assists.

The signings come on the heels of Tampa Bay's signings of wingers Ryan Malone, Gary Roberts and Vaclav Prospal, giving the Lightning a drastically different group of forwards for the 2008-2009 season.
