Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - The Phoenix Coyotes recalled center Kyle Turris on Tuesday from San Antonio of the AHL.
Turris, the third overall pick of the 2007 NHL Draft, recorded six goals and 10 assists in 50 games this season for the Coyotes before getting sent down to the Rampage.
In an eight-game stint in the AHL, Turris tallied four goals and three assists.
After registering 35 points in 36 games for the University of Wisconsin last season, the 19-year-old Turris played the final three games of the 2007-08 season with Phoenix and finished with one assist.
