The Vancouver Canucks did not have Mats Sundin for their Game 3 win over the St. Louis Blues with what the team is a calling a 'lower-body injury.'

The Canucks defeated the Blues 3-2 and took a 3-0 series lead.

The veteran forward's status for Game 4 on Tuesday is unknown.

"We'll know in a couple days," Canucks head coach Alain Vigneault told the Canadian Press following Sunday's game. "At this time it's day to day, week to week, whatever you want to call it."

Sundin, who was averaging just over 15 minutes per game in the series appeared to injure himself half-way through the third period of Friday night's Game 2 victory.  Although he finished the game, he received a great deal of treatment following the win.

Sundin has been a lightning rod for criticism in Vancouver after signing an enormous contract with the Canucks midway through the season, scoring only 9 times in 41 games while posting a -5 rating.  In two playoff games he has one goal.

Jannik Hansen took his spot in the Canucks lineup.
