The Calgary Flames have added some more depth to an already stacked blueline Wednesday by acquiring Aaron Johnson from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for forward Kyle Greentree.
In 184 career games split between the Blue Jackets, Islanders and Blackhawks, the 26-year old Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia native has 10 goals and 26 assists.
Meanwhile Greentree, who has played in two games this season, has yet to record a point in four career NHL games, however he had 39 goals and 37 assists in 79 games for Quad City of the AHL last season.
