Boston, MA (Sports Network) - The Boston Bruins announced on Monday that forward Milan Lucic had successful surgery to repair a broken right index finger.
Lucic broke the finger during Friday's 3-0 win at Dallas, and was placed on injured reserve on Sunday after the procedure was performed at Massachusetts General in Boston.
The 21-year-old had three assists in six games this season for the struggling Bruins, after netting 17 goals and 42 points a year ago.
