The National Basketball Association released its roster of player to compete in the various skills competitions to be held over All-Star Weekend in Toronto.

Hometown favourite Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors will enter the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest. The reigning Eastern Conference Player of the Month is shooting .388 from beyond the arc this season and will take on the defending champion, Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors.

Thompson's fellow Splash Brother, Stephen Curry, James Harden of the Houston Rockets, Miami Heat's Chris Bosh, JJ Redick of the Los Angeles Clippers, Khris Middleton of the Milwaukee Bucks and the Phoenix Suns' Devin Booker round out the field.

Another defending champion will try to hold on to his title as Zach LaVine of the Minnesota Timberwolves headlines the Verizon Slam Dunk. He's joined by three first-time entrants in All-Star Andre Drummond of the Detroit Pistons, the Phoenix Suns' Will Barton and Aaron Gordon of the Orlando Magic.

An eight-man tournament will take place to determine the winner of the Taco Bells Skills Challenge. The event will feature four backcourt and four frontcourt players. Rookie Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves and All-Stars Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings' DeMarcus Cousins and Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors make up the frontcourt contingent. The backcourt quartet is comprised of defending champion Patrick Beverley of the Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers' CJ McCollum, Jordan Clarkson of the Los Angeles Lakers and All-Star Isaiah Thomas of the Boston Celtics.

All three events take place on February 13.
