Duron Carter is closing in on deciding his next team.
According to ESPN's Ben Goessling, the former Montreal Alouettes wide receiver has narrowed down his interests to two NFL clubs.
Carter, son of NFL Hall of Famer Cris Carter, was named a league All-Star in just his second season with the Alouettes. The 23-year-old had 75 catches for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns in 2014 and 124 catches for 1,939 yards and 12 touchdowns during his two-year CFL career.
CBS Sports reported earlier this month up to 15 teams were interested in signing Carter.
The Indianapolis Colts and Minnesota Vikings are both rumoured to be among the teams that have shown significant interest in Carter.
The Kansas City Star reported Friday the Chiefs had dropped out of the running for Carter. The Chiefs have a need at wide receiver but lack significant cap space.
Carter is free to formally sign south of the border in February.
