The Ottawa Senators are making a goaltending change ahead of Game 3 of their first-round series with the Montreal Canadiens.
Andrew Hammond - who started the first two games - will back up 33-year-old Craig Anderson as the series heads to the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa Sunday.
Hammond, who helped propel the Senators to the playoffs with a remarkable 20-1-2 rookie season, was in net for both Games 1 and 2, allowing seven goals on 81 shots.
Anderson has appeared in 23 career post-season games with the Senators and Colorado Avalanche and has posted a 10-12-2 record with 2.60 goals-against average and a .926 save percentage.
He backstopped the Senators to a five-game series victory over the Canadiens in the opening round of the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Meanwhile, forward Mark Stone is expected to once again suit up despite having a microfracture in his wrist.
Stone's injury was the result of a P.K. Subban slash in game 1 that earned the Canadiens defender a major and game misconduct. Ottawa general manager called for the League to suspend Subban for his actions, but no supplemental discipline was handed down.
TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun reported Sunday that the 22-year-old rookie is on the mend.
