OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR DONATION OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.


1. The Win a Trip to Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Bell Media Inc. and The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest Sponsors”). The Contest starts at 12:01AM Mountain Time (“MT”) on August 1st, 2016 and closes on August 14th at 11:59PM MT (the “Contest Period”).
 
2. ELIGIBLITY. To enter and to be eligible to win, entrant must be a legal resident of Alberta and be eighteen years of age or older. Employees and their parents, siblings and children, and persons domiciled with an employee of the Contest Sponsors, their respective agents, parent, affiliated or related companies, subsidiaries, divisions, prize sponsors and promotional and advertising agencies and any other entity that is involved in the administration, execution or organization of the Contest (collectively, the “Contest Parties”) are ineligible to enter.
 
3. HOW TO ENTER. NO DONATION NECESSARY. There are four (4) methods of entry into the Contest (see section 3.IV. for details regarding the No Donation Necessary method of entry), as follows:
I. ONLINE: Visit the website located at http://www.stollerykids.com/ways-to-give/donation-options/monthly-donation.aspx and follow the on-screen instructions to make a donation and OPT IN to become a monthly donor (no minimum dollar amount) during the Contest Period (each, an “Online Donation Entry”):
II. TEXT MESSAGE: Make a $10 CAD donation by texting the word “STOLLERY” to short code 45678 and OPT IN to become a monthly donor during the Contest Period (each, a “TM Donation Entry”). You must have access to a cellular telephone that is capable of two-way text messaging. Text messaging is not available in all areas. Standard text messaging fees apply. Visit www.mobilegiving.ca for further details (including details regarding its terms of service).
III. TELEPHONE CALL: Call 780-407-KIDS (5437) and make a donation (no minimum dollar amount) and opt in to become a monthly donor following instructions provided during the Contest Period (each, a “Call-in Donation Entry”). Standard telephone service fees and/or other rates apply to participants who call to make a donation. Please contact your service provider for pricing and service plan information and rates before participation via telephone.
IV. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Mail (or hand-deliver to the Station’s address set out below) an original handwritten letter (maximum of 100 words in length), explaining why you want to enter the Contest (each, a “Letter Entry”), along with your full name, address, email address (optional), age and telephone number to: Contest “Win a Trip to Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge”, c/o Lisa Dickau, 18520 Stony Plain Rd, Suite 100, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, T5S 2E2. If the Letter Entry is mailed, to be eligible for the Contest, it must be postmarked by no later than the end of the Contest Period and received within five days from the end of the Contest Period. If the Letter Entry is hand-delivered, to be eligible for the Contest, it must be delivered by the end of the Contest Period.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Standard text messaging, data and/or other rates apply to participants who participate in the Contest via a wireless mobile device. Wireless service providers may charge for airtime and/or data in relation to participation in this Contest via a wireless mobile device. Please contact your service provider for pricing and service plan information and rates before mobile device participation.
For the purposes of this Contest, the Online Donation Entries, TM Donation Entries, Call-in Donation Entries and Letter Entries shall be collectively referred to as the “Entries” and each, an “Entry”. Limit of one (1) Entry per person during the Contest Period (regardless of the method of entry). If it is discovered by the Contest Sponsors (using any evidence or other information made available to or otherwise discovered by the Contest Sponsors) that any person has attempted to: (i) obtain more than one (1) Entry (regardless of the method of entry); and/or (ii) use multiple names, identities, email addresses and/or any automated, macro, script, robotic or other system(s) or program(s) to enter or otherwise participate in or to disrupt this Contest; then he/she may be disqualified from the Contest in the sole and absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsors. Your Entry may be rejected if (in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor) it is not fully completed with all required information and submitted and received in accordance with these Official Rules and Regulations during the Contest Period. The Released Parties (defined below) are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, delayed, incomplete or incompatible Entries and/or any other Contest-related information (all of which are void).
 
4. PRIZE. There is one (1) prize (the “Prize”) consisting of a trip for four (4) to Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Trip includes: two (2) nights in a Whistler Cabin with 2 bedrooms and a parlour room, 2x times breakfast for four (4) persons, four (4) Marmot Lift tickets for one day, four (4) sixty (60) minute Spa Treatments, dinner for four (4) persons including Aperitif & one (1) bottle of wine. The Prize winner and his/her travelling companions are solely responsible for all costs not expressly described herein as included in the Prize, including, without limitation, as applicable, taxes, fuel/currency surcharges, meals and beverages, room service, gratuities, merchandise, telephone calls, insurance, any required travel documentation (including passports and visas) and all personal expenses of any kind or nature. The Prize winner and his/her travelling companions are also solely responsible for all costs incurred to and from the Departure Point as the Prize originates and terminates there. It is the sole responsibility of the Prize winner and his/her travelling companions to obtain all necessary travel documentation including passports and visas, and to comply with any customs and immigration requirements, as applicable. Travel must take place by April 30, 2017 (the following blackout periods apply: excluding holidays and special events to be determined by Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge) and the Prize winner and his/her travelling companions must be able to travel at the times and dates as determined by the Contest Sponsors, in their sole discretion and authority, failing which the Prize will be forfeited. It is recommended that the Prize winner and his/her travelling companions obtain sufficient personal insurance prior to departure. Approximate retail value of the Prize is $2,855.00 CAD based on an Edmonton departure hypothetical example. No change in travel arrangements can be made by the Prize winner once his/her booking has been confirmed. The Prize may not be used towards any type of frequent flyer mileage, or other reward point accumulation program.
Before being able to participate in the Prize, the travelling companions, will be required to sign and return within the time stipulated by the Contest Sponsors, a full release and indemnity form stating that, among other things, he/she has read and understood these Rules, grants all consents required, agrees to be available and to participate in publicity and/or promotions related to the Contest and/or the Contest Sponsors and/or similar matters, authorizes the Contest Sponsors to broadcast, publish, disseminate and otherwise use his/her name, city/town/village and province/territory of residence, photograph, likeness, sobriquet and voice, in connection with any promotion and/or publicity, and/or for general news, entertainment and/or information purposes at no additional compensation to the travelling companions, beyond his/her participation in the Prize, accepts the Prize as offered and releases the Released Parties (defined below) from any and all liability of any kind arising out of the travelling companion’s participation in this Contest and receipt and use of the Prize.
 
5. The Prize must be accepted as awarded. The Prize may not be sold, transferred and is not convertible to cash. Contest Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a Prize, in whole or in part, in the event that all or any component of a Prize is unavailable. Prize winner is solely responsible for all costs not expressly described herein.
 
6. On August 15, 2016 between 7:40AM and 8:40AM MT, a random draw for the Prize will take place at the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation from among all eligible Entries received during the Contest Period. The first entry drawn will be eligible to win the Prize. The odds of winning the Prize will depend on the number of eligible Entries received during the Contest Period. Bell Media Inc., acting reasonably, will attempt to contact the potential Prize winner to notify potential winner that he or she may have won the Prize by telephone within two (2) business days after the draw. In the event that the potential winner cannot be contacted within 2 business days after the draw, he or she will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be drawn at the Contest Sponsors’ sole discretion. Proof of identification must be provided upon request.
In order to be declared the Prize winner, the potential Prize winner must first correctly answer, unaided, a time limited mathematical skill testing question administered by Bell Media Inc. Before being awarded the Prize, the potential Prize winner will be required to sign and return within the time stipulated by the Contest Sponsors, a full release and indemnity form stating, among other things, that he/she has read and understood these Rules, grants all consents required, authorizes the Contest Sponsors to broadcast, publish, disseminate and/or otherwise use his/her name, city/town/village and province/territory of residence, photograph, likeness, sobriquet and voice and all other indicia of personality, in connection with any promotion and/or publicity, and/or for general news and/or for entertainment and/or information purposes at no additional compensation to the potential winner, beyond the awarding of the Prize, accepts the Prize as offered and releases the Contest Parties and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability of any kind arising out of the potential winner’s participation in this Contest and receipt and/or use of the Prize. In the event that the potential winner does not comply with all the provisions as contemplated in these Rules, the Contest Sponsors shall have the right to disqualify such potential winner and the Released Parties shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard. The provisions and procedures referred to above relating to selection and notification of a potential winner shall be applied, with the necessary amendments, until a qualified winner has been duly selected.
 
7. By entering this Contest the entrants and participants automatically agree to accept and abide by these Rules. All decisions of the Contest Sponsors with respect to any aspect of this Contest, including without limitation the eligibility of Entries, are final and binding on all entrants in all matters as they relate to this Contest.
 
8. All Entries become property of Contest Sponsors who assume no responsibility for garbled, lost, late, delayed, destroyed or misdirected Entries, mail, voice messages, e-mail or any computer errors or malfunctions. No correspondence will be entered into except with entrants requesting Rules by mail or requesting the name of the Prize winner (for which a self-addressed, postage paid envelope must be included). Contest Sponsors do not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, seeding or printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry materials or data that have been tampered with or altered are void. If for any reason, in the opinion of the Contest Sponsors, in their sole discretion, the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or the proper conduct of the Contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond its control, Contest Sponsors reserve their right to cancel, terminate, modify, amend, extend or suspend the Contest, and/or select a winner from previously received eligible Entries. Contest Sponsors reserve their right to modify the Rules without materially affecting the terms and conditions hereof. The Contest Sponsors reserve their right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of the Rules or otherwise in a disruptive manner. Any attempts to deliberately damage the Contest web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made the Contest Sponsors reserve their right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent of the law. Contest Sponsors shall not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest including any damage to an entrant’s computer equipment, system, software or any combination thereof, as a result of their participation in this Contest or from downloading any material from the Contest web site.
 
9. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. By entering this Contest each entrant consents to the collection, use and distribution of his or her personal information (information that identifies an entrant as an individual, such as home telephone number, age and home address) by the Contest Sponsors (and their designated representatives) for the purposes of implementing, administering and fulfilling this Contest. Contest Sponsors will not sell or transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of administering this Contest. By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the manner of collection, use and disclosure of personal information as set out in Bell Media Inc.'s Privacy Policy, which is available at bellmedia.ca/about/Media_Privacy.page and Stollery’s Privacy Policy, which is available at http://www.stollerykids.com/. 10. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest related materials, including but not limited to the Contest entry form, or point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
 
11. All intellectual property, including but not limited to trade-marks, trade-names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by the Contest Sponsors and/or their affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
