Blazers extend McCollum to max contract
The Portland Trail Blazers have extended C.J. McCollum to a four-year $106 million max contract according to a report by Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

The Portland Trail Blazers have extended C.J. McCollum to a four-year $106 million max contract according to a report by Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.
The deal also includes no options and no trade kickers.
In his third season and first as an everyday starter the 24-year-old took a massive step in the right direction. He averaged 20.8 points, 4.3 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 80 games. McCollum was the recipient of the most improved player award this past season.
Since being drafted 10th overall by Portland in 2013, the Lehigh University product has averaged 12.7 points, 2.4 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 180 games.
