Blue Bombers sign QB Willy to extension
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed quarterback Drew Willy to a two-year contract extension that will keep him in the Manitoba capital through 2017. The University of Buffalo product threw for 3,769 yards in 2014 with 14 touchdowns and 16 interceptions last season.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed quarterback Drew Willy to a two-year contract extension that will keep him in the Manitoba capital through 2017.
According to Gary Lawless of TSN Radio 1290 and the Winnipeg Fre Press, Willy's cap hit for this season will not change much but his salary will increase in the next two years.
After spending two seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Willy was acquired by the Blue Bombers prior to last season.
The University of Buffalo product, who missed one game due to injury, threw for 3,769 yards in 2014 with 14 touchdowns and 16 interceptions as the Blue Bombers finished with a record of 7-11.
