CALGARY - The Vancouver Canucks have recalled forward Sven Baertschi from the American Hockey League ahead of Game 4 of their playoff series against the Calgary Flames.

The Bern, Switzerland native was acquired by Vancouver from the Flames on March 2 in exchange for the Canucks' second round pick in the 2015 draft.

The 22-year-old appeared in three games with the Canucks this season, registering two goals and four penalty minutes. He had four assists in 15 games with the Flames.

He had 40 points in 51 AHL games split between the Utica Comets and Adirondack Flames.

The five-foot-11, 190-pound forward was selected 13th overall by Calgary in 2011 NHL draft.
