The speculation on when former WWE superstar CM Punk will make his UFC debut is finally over as the fighter announced on Thursday that he will face opponent Mickey Gall at UFC 203, which will take place in Cleveland, Ohio.

The 37-year-old, whose real name is Phillip Brooks, signed with the UFC in December of 2014 after leaving the wrestling promotion earlier in the year.

Since joining the UFC, Punk has dealt with injuries including surgery on a herniated disc in his back that forced the postponement of his debut.

Punk’s opponent Gall earned his spot in the matchup with a 45-second submission victory over Mike Jackson in February.

Punk has trained with Duke Roufus since making the switch over to MMA.
