Copeland out of the running to be next CFL commissioner
Sources have told TSN Football Insider Dave Naylor that Michael Copeland has withdrawn his name from consideration to succeed Mark Cohon as CFL commissioner. Copeland will remain as the league's president and chief operating officer.

Sources have told TSN Football Insider Dave Naylor that Michael Copeland has withdrawn his name from consideration to succeed Mark Cohon as CFL commissioner.
Copeland will remain as the league's president and chief operating officer. He was hired as COO of the league in January, 2006 and became league president in April, 2013.
Cohon announced in August that he will leave the commissioner's office once his contract expires in April.
