There is just over 24 hours to go until Monday's NHL trade deadline and TSN.ca has you covered with all of the news and rumours heading up to the 3pm et cutoff.

Stone Story

With Friday's Matt Duchene trade and Ryan Dzingel heading out on Saturday, both to the Columbus Blue Jackets, Mark Stone is the last remaining big trade piece for the Ottawa Senators.  The 26-year-old pending UFA is currently number one on the TSN Trade Bait board and is expected to bring in the biggest prize, if he is traded before the deadline.

TSN Senior Hockey Reporter Frank Seravalli says that if the Senators choose, they can allow teams they are considering dealing with to negotiate an extension with Stone and possibly get a better return on their deal.  Seravalli highlights the Winnipeg Jets, Nashville Predators, Calgary Flames and Boston Bruins as teams that could be in the mix for Stone's services.

Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports that the return the Senators are chasing includes a first-round pick as well as two "strong" assets.

Simmonds Simmers

With the most recent deals, Philadelphia Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds has risen to second on TSN's Trade Bait board.  Simmonds does not know if he's going to stay with the Flyers, but says he took extra time after Saturday's win to enjoy an extra moment with his teammates.

"Don't know what my future holds here the next 48 hours," Simmonds said after the game. "It was nice to stand out there and get that win and have all those cheers.  I don't know what's going to happen. Obviously, I'd like to stay here, but it's out of my hands now. It is what it is at this point. I can truly say I've given everything I have to Philadelphia over the last eight years."

Seravalli notes in the latest Trade Bait that there is belief Simmonds could still bring back a conditional first-round pick and a prospect.  Simmonds holds a 12-team, no-trade clause.

Panarin Plan

Columbus Blue Jackets general manager Jarmo Kekalainen held a conference call on Sunday and said that his position on trading or keeping forward Artemi Panarin has not changed.  He is only interested in making a move if the offer makes sense both now and in the long term.

"We've had plenty (of offers), but nothing the would make us trade him." Kekalainen told the media on Sunday.
