Drew League partners with adidas, drops new jerseys
The Los Angeles-based Drew League has joined the adidas family and has already released new threads that will be worn by the league.

In a promotional video featuring James Harden, the NBA star is seen on a basketball court before the league’s jerseys are revealed. He is heard saying, “No excuse, just produce,” the league’s slogan.
The league’s 2022 uniforms include home jerseys (white pinstripes with blue accents) and away jerseys (black pinstripes with blue accents).
The partnership between adidas and the Drew League was announced on social media with a one-minute video showcasing Oris “Dino” Smiley, the CEO of the Drew League, walking around parts of South-Central LA and inviting people to meet him at The Drew.
The Drew League is a pro-am basketball summer league founded in 1973 by Alvin Wills. It initially consisted of six teams but has expanded to many more. In 2021, it consisted of 22 teams. Many notable athletes have played at the Drew League throughout the years. Harden first played for the league in 2009. Meanwhile, many stars, including Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Kevin Durant, played in the league during the 2011 lockout season.
The league’s official start date for this season has yet to be announced.
