The Anaheim Ducks have announced that forward Ondrej Kase needs shoulder surgery and will miss five-to-six months with a torn labrum in his shoulder.

The Anaheim Ducks have announced that forward Ondrej Kase needs shoulder surgery and will miss five-to-six months.
Kase suffered a torn labrum in his shoulder on Jan.17 against the Minnesota Wild.
The 23-year-old has 20 points (11 goals, nine assists) in 30 games played this season.
Kase was drafted by the Ducks in the seventh round (205th overall) of the 2014 NHL entry draft.
