FILA and Lil Jon team up for limited-edition collection
Grammy Award winning rapper Lil Jon has joined forces with FILA launching a brand-new limited-edition capsule that will include two t-shirts and a specially designed pair of sneakers. The Atlanta native recruited Atlanta-based artist Freako Rico to design the colourfully stylish and eye-popping tees. Offered in classic white and black, the shirts uniquely pay homage to the rapper’s beloved city in a fun an unexpected way.

The Atlanta native recruited Atlanta-based artist Freako Rico to design the colourfully stylish and eye-popping tees. Offered in classic white and black, the shirts uniquely pay homage to the rapper’s beloved city in a fun an unexpected way.
"Freako Rico is a well-respected artist in Atlanta and it was important to me that we use a local creative to represent my hometown. His bright and vibrant illustrations and his 90’s design style captured the freshness of the FILA Renno." Says Jon. "I’m from Atlanta where we use the acronym ‘Forever I Love Atlanta.’ We rock FILA, and we’ve never stopped rockin’ FILA. The acronym and the city are intertwined."
The shoe also gives a twist on a classic design featuring a white leather base with pops of pink, a red FILA flag, and dual-colored red and white laces. "AYEE" is written across the shoes tongue while the sockliner is embellished with "ATL" and "AYEEE!"
