College football season is so close you can almost taste it and with it comes a whole lot of fun rituals that fans and schools take part in.

This pre-season event comes to us courtesy the University of Georgia Bulldogs. Every year before the season begins dating back to 2011, head coach Mark Richt has done a layout backflip off the high dive at the Gabrielsen Natatorium.

This year might be his finest performance.

 The fans love it, the players love it and Richt doesn't look like he minds the spotlight.
