Brooke Henderson added another top-10 finish to her record, posting a tie for third at the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship on Sunday.

Henderson’s latest accomplishment came after a final-round 70. She was a distant seven shots back of winner Ha Na Jang.

The Smiths Falls, Ont., product has now logged 14 finishes inside the top 10, including her last three starts. She’s earned more than $1.6 million, boosted by $117,000 from her performance in Taiwan.

“[It’s] definitely had an incredible year so far,” Henderson told reporters earlier in the week. “Very happy about it. I feel like my overall game has become more consistent, a little bit more accurate, and I think that that's something that -- the last few weeks, you know, top 10 at the last major of the year and a good finish last week in China.”

Despite a good run the last three events, the 19-year-old star dropped to fourth in the Rolex Rankings, still an impressive position considering this is her first full year on the LPGA Tour.

She is ranked first in two other categories, however. Henderson has played more tournaments – 26 – and more rounds – 101 – than any other LPGA golfer.

“It has been a busy year,” Henderson admitted in Taiwan, “but it's been a lot of fun. We've been able to travel all around the world and to a bunch of places, and I've been able to do it alongside my older sister, Brit, who also caddies for me.

“Just been really enjoying ourselves. I may be a little bit tired but just try to rest early part the week and look forward to next place. Kind of feel the adrenaline and build the energy from that.”

The LPGA Tour is on a whirlwind trip through Asia. There are six tournaments remaining on the schedule. The next four are in South Korea, China, Malaysia and Japan before wrapping up the year in Mexico and then the season finale, the CME Group Tour Championship, in Naples, Fla. Henderson plans to play them all.
