Edmonton Oilers

After two consecutive losses to the Vancouver Canucks to open the season, the Oilers have reunited the line of Connor McDavid centering Leon Draisaitl and Evander Kane. Both McDavid and Draisaitl have three points in two games to open the season while Kane has zero points and minus-five.

Per TSN's Ryan Rishaug, Warren Foegele has been elevated to the second line with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Zach Hyman with Connor Brown on the third line with Ryan McLeod and Dylan Holloway

New Jersey Devils

Forward Tomas Nosek will not play Monday against the Florida Panthers as he continues to deal a lower-body injury.

Head coach Lindy Ruff said Nosek is day-to-day.

The Devils are 1-0-1 this season, while the Panthers are 0-2 after reaching the Stanley Cup Final last spring.

Columbus Blue Jackets

The Blue Jackets added goaltender Jet Greaves to their roster under an emergency recall Monday.

Columbus netminder Elvis Merzlikins is dealing with a stomach bug.

Montreal Canadiens

Forward Kirby Dach is expected be out long-term with a "significant injury." The team did not provide a specific timeline Monday.

Dach left Saturday's 3-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks with a lower-body injury and did not return. In the first period, he took a hit from Blackhawks defenceman Jarred Tinordi that sent him into the Blackhawks' bench. He was in discomfort and went to the dressing room. He did not return to the bench for the start of the second period and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

In the season opener Wednesday night against Toronto, Dach had two assists with 21:22 TOI in a 6-5 shootout loss.
