Ice Chips: Sens recall Lazar

The team has placed defenceman Alex Petrovic on injured reserve. The 24-year-old Edmonton native incurred a lower-body injury blocking a shot on Tuesday night against the Montreal Canadiens. - Miami Herald

The club has assigned forward Sven Andrighetto to St. John's of the AHL.
While no official announcement has been made, this could point to a return for Alexander Radulov (flu).

Ottawa Senators
The team has recalled centre Curtis Lazar from the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.
Lazar, 21, missed all of training camp due to mono and was sent down on Oct. 11. In 13 games in the AHL this season, Lazar has three goals and an assist.
Bobby Ryan will not be in the lineup against the Panthers, however, after taking a puck off of the hand.
The Senators also waived goaltender Andrew Hammond on Saturday.

The surging Frederik Andersen gets the start on Saturday night against the Canadiens.
