Jonathan Toews was forced to leave Wednesday's game against San Jose during the second period because of an upper-body injury. "We'll know more (Thursday) but we're hopeful he's OK," coach Joel Quenneville said after the game. "Nothing long-term or serious." - Chicago Tribune

Forward Bobby Ryan said he is feeling better following Thursday's morning skate and will play tonight against the Bruins. - TSN

Nathan Beaulieu, who took a puck to the throat Tuesday night, will sit out tonight's game and is doubtful for the start of the Canadiens’ five-game road Saturday in Detroit.
