Ice Chips: Sens' Pinto, Norris not at practice Tuesday

Ottawa Senators
Shane Pinto and Josh Norris were not seen at Senators practice on Tuesday, reports Postmedia's Bruce Garrioch.
Both are dealing with upper-body injuries sustained prior to the 4 Nations Face-Off.
In 50 games played this season Norris has posted 19 goals and 12 assists for 31 points. Pinto has 11 goals and 11 assists over 45 games with the Sens this season, his fifth campaign in the nation's capital.
The Senators have recalled forward Cole Reinhardt from Belleville, the team announced.
The 25-year-old has one goal and one assist in 16 games with the NHL club this season, adding eight goals and 20 points in 20 games in Belleville.
Montreal Canadiens
Forward Emil Heineman skated on his own prior to practice on Tuesday. The rookie has not played since Jan. 11 after he sustained an upper-body injury in an auto accident as a pedestrian. \
The 23-year-old had 10 goals and 17 points in 41 games prior to the injury.
Forward Josh Anderson had a therapy day and did not practice, while Michael Pezzetta is out with a lower-body injury and will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.
Toronto Maple Leafs
The Maple Leafs have recalled forward Alex Steeves from the AHL's Toronto Marlies.
Steeves, 25, currently leads the American hockey League with 29 goals and is third in points with 46 through 40 games.
The St. Paul, Minn. native has played four games with the Leafs this season and has not recorded a point. He was originally signed by Toronto as an undrafted free agent in 2021.
Vancouver Canucks
The Canucks reached a two-year, $5 million contract extension with forward Drew OConnor.
The deal carries a $2.5 million average annual value and takes him through the 2026-27 campaign.
Winnipeg Jets
The Jets have recalled goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen from the AHL's Manitoba Moose as a practice player as allowed under the NHL 4 Nations Face-Off rules.
New Jersey Devils
The Devils placed goaltender Jacob Markstrom and defenceman Jonas Siegenthaler on injured reserve.
Markstrom sustained a sprained MCL last month and was given a timetable of 4-6 weeks.
Siegenthaler (lower-body injury) underwent a procedure during the 4 Nations break and will be re-evaluated in 2-3 weeks, said head coach Sheldon Keefe. The 27-year-old has two goals and seven assists in 55 games this season.
The Devils have called up forward Chase Stillman and defencemen Seamus Casey and Simon Nemec and goaltender Tyler Brennan.
