The Montreal Impact are still busy on the trade front.

The team announced on Tuesday afternoon that it had acquired midfielder Dominic Oduro from Toronto FC in exchange for allocation money.

"This move allows us to add quality depth to our striker position, as we identified in our plan," said Impact technical director Adam Braz in a statement. "Dominic is an experienced player who has scored in our league and adds a different profile to our attacking options."

A native of Ghana, the 29-year-old appeared in 24 matches with TFC last season after being acquired midseason, scoring twice. A veteran of 252 MLS games, Oduro, once capped by Ghana, has also spent time with FC Dallas, New York Red Bulls, Chicago Fire and Columbus Crew in six seasons.

“This deal provided an opportunity to acquire financial assets that will allow us to continue to strengthen our squad,” said TFC general manager Tim Bezbatchenko in a release. “We’d like to thank Dom for his contributions to our club and wish him all the best.”

Earlier on Tuesday, the Impact traded midfielder Felipe to the Red Bulls for left back Ambroise Oyongo and midfielder Eric Alexander.
