The Toronto Blue Jays have signed right-handed reliever Javy Guerra to a minor league deal with an invite to big league camp, the team announced Saturday.

He will participate in the team's major league camp alongside top prospects Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette and Cavan Biggio.

Guerra went 1-1 last season for the Miami Marlins with an earned run average of 5.55 in 35.2 innings. Guerra has also spent time with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels and Chicago White Sox. His best season came with the Dodgers in 2011 when he pitched to an ERA of 2.31 and had 21 saves in 46.2 innings.

The 33-year-old is a native of Denton, Tex.
