Jets shut down Enstrom until playoffs
Winnipeg Jets head coach Paul Maurice announced on Sunday that Toby Enstrom will be shut down for the remainder of the regular season. The team expects the 33-year-old defenceman to be ready for Game 1 of their opening round playoff series.

The team expects the 33-year-old defenceman to be ready for Game 1 of their opening round playoff series.
Enstrom incurred a lower-body injury during the club's 3-2 overtime win against the Anaheim Ducks on Friday. He was not expected to dress against the Nashville Predators on Sunday.
In 43 games this season, Enstrom has a goal and five assists and was averaging 17:02 of ice-time a night.
As for the game against the Central Division-leading Predators on Sunday night, the Jets had an optional skate on Sunday morning prior to it.
