Isner suffered a foot fracture at the Miami Open on April 2. He was expected to miss four-to-six weeks with the injury but was hopefully to be ready for Rolland Garros.
"The foot injury I sustained in Miami has not fully healed and there's just no way I possibly compete on the clay at Paris," Isner said. "This is a bump in the road and I'm certain I will fully recover. Hope to see everyone at Wimbledon!"
