Isner to sit out French Open
John Isner have withdrawn from the French Open, the American tennis player announced on his Twitter on Friday. Isner suffered a foot fracture at the Miami Open on April 2. He was expected to miss four-to-six weeks with the injury but was hopefully to be ready for Rolland Garros.

John Isner have withdrawn from the French Open, the American tennis player announced on his Twitter on Friday.
Isner suffered a foot fracture at the Miami Open on April 2. He was expected to miss four-to-six weeks with the injury but was hopefully to be ready for Rolland Garros.
"The foot injury I sustained in Miami has not fully healed and there's just no way I possibly compete on the clay at Paris," Isner said. "This is a bump in the road and I'm certain I will fully recover. Hope to see everyone at Wimbledon!"
The 33-year-old tennis player is currently ranked 11th in the ATP rankings.
