Kicker Castillo among players cut by Ticats
American kicker Sergio Castillo and Canadian defensive lineman Ben D'Aguilar were among four players released by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Saturday. Also let go were punter-kicker Kenny Allen and running back Rajion Neal, both Americans.

HAMILTON — American kicker Sergio Castillo and Canadian defensive lineman Ben D'Aguilar were among four players released by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Saturday.

Castillo, 27, made 29-of-34 field goal attempts lith Hamilton while also registering a 45.1-yard punting average in 14 games last season. He appeared in four games with Winnipeg in 2015 before playing two contests the following season with Ottawa.
The six-foot-two, 235-pound D'Aguilar appeared in six games last year with Hamilton, registering one defensive tackle. The 28-year-old Hamilton native began his CFL career with Calgary, spending parts of five seasons with the Stampeders before being released.
Allen made 11-of-12 field goals he attempted in four games last year with Hamilton. He also had 25 kickoffs.
