Krebs named Canada's U-18 captain
Hockey Canada announced on Thursday that Kootenay Ice centre Peyton Krebs️ will be captain of the National Under-18 team that will take part in the annual tournament next week in Sweden.

Hockey Canada announced on Thursday that Kootenay Ice centre Peyton Krebs️ will be captain of the National Under-18 team that will take part in the annual tournament next week in Sweden.
Also, Lethbridge Hurricanes centre Dylan Cozens and Baie Comeau winger Nathan Legare were named alternate captains. All three players are eligible for the NHL Draft in June.
Krebs scored 19 goals and tallied 68 points in 64 games this past season with Kootenay, while Cozens scored 34 goals and had 84 points in 68 games with Lethbridge.
Legare scored 45 goals and had 87 points in the QMJHL in 2018-19.
The World Under-18 Hockey Championship begins on Thursday in Ornskoldsvik and Umea, Sweden and can be seen live on TSN, the TSN App and TSN Direct.
