Toronto Maple Leafs
Maple Leafs defence Timothy Liljegren was on the ice for practice Monday morning after leaving Saturday's overtime loss to the Nashville Predators with an upper-body injury.
The 24-year-old Swede has one assist over eight games this season.
Head coach Sheldon Keefe announced that Joseph Woll will get the start between the pipes on Tuesday against the visiting Los Angeles Kings. The 25-year-old Woll has been Toronto's best goalie so far this season, posting a 3-1 record with a 1.33 goals-against average and a .961 save percentage.
Additionally, defenceman Jake McCabe was not at practice and it appears he'll miss a second straight game with the groin injury suffered last week. Keefe said he hopes McCabe can return to the practice ice mid-week.
