The 28-year-old Michigan product had been playing in the G League this season.
Stauskas is a veteran of 335 NBA games over five seasons with the Sacramento Kings, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, Portland Trail Blazers and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Internationally, Stauskas has represented Canada on a number of occasions, including at the 2015 FIBA Americas tournament.
