Designer Joe Freshgoods has become somewhat of a household name in the world of streetwear and sneakers, and he continues to showcase a unique blend of fashion and culture in his latest project for New Balance, the “Conversation Amongst Us" collection.

The capsule, which Freshgoods serves as creative director to, features vintage-styled apparel and sneaker models, including the New Balance 2002R, 574, 550 and Kawhi 2.

To make the initiative come to life, Freshgoods joined forces with New Balance’s all-Black creative team, The Black Soles, led by associate product managers and designers, Jordan Johnson and Kevin Trotman. The team’s focus on the project was to emphasize and showcase Black creativity.

The collection features signature graphic t-shirts, a fleece hoodie, crewneck sweatshirt and sweatpants. It also features new silhouettes for the 2002R and 550 sneakers, both of which style cream and yellow colourways.

The New Balance “Conversations Amongst Us” collection drops on April 15 via the New Balance website. Apparel will retail between $40-$85 USD while sneakers will range from around $120-$130 USD.
