New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson and left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. have been activated from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.

Tyson, the eighth overall pick in the 2026 draft, is set to make his NFL debut after injuring his hamstring in August. He returned to practice for the first time since injuring his right hamstring in a joint practice against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Aug. 13.

He has been listed as questionable on the injury report along with Banks, who also returned to practice following surgery on his ankle.

Tyson was expected to be out at least two months after the hamstring injury, which occurred after he landed awkwardly after catching a pass. Both Tyson and the Saints said the injury was not related to his previous hamstring issues from college; he missed three games for Arizona State last year.

He also tore his ACL, MCL and PCL in his left knee when he was at Colorado in 2022, fractured his collarbone in 2024 and sprained his ankle that caused him to miss spring practices in 2025.

Tyson said he feels like the extended time to get himself right has been "a blessing."

"Kind of got a slow start to the NFL, so I got to kind of take my time and kind of really adjust to it," he said.

The Saints released running back Kendre Miller as a corresponding move.

Miller, a 2023 third-round pick out of TCU, led the Saints' struggling run game with 159 yards this season. The Saints released him after claiming running back Audric Estime off waivers from the Cleveland Browns. Estime was with the team last year and in camp but was waived with an injury settlement.

The Saints rushed for only 18 yards in their last game before the bye week, a 16-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Paris.
