Detroit Red Wings
Head coach Todd McLellan told reporters Larkin would be in Tuesday's lineup pending clearance from team doctors.
Viewers in the Sens region can watch the game LIVE on TSN5, TSN.ca and the TSN App at 7pm ET/4pm PT.
Larkin, who has missed the first two games of the season with an upper-body injury, skated on Detroit's top line with Viktor Arvidsson and Lucas Raymond at the morning skate.
The 30-year-old American made headlines this off-season after it was revealed he requested a trade out of Detroit. Larkin has remained with the organization and was stripped of his captaincy last month during training camp.
Larkin netted 34 goals and 33 assists over 74 games with the Red Wings last season, his 12th with the franchise since being selected 15th overall in 2014. He has 276 goals and 367 assists over 808 career games with the Red Wings, but has only appeared in five playoff games as Detroit has missed the playoffs in 10 straight seasons.
Larkin is in the fourth season of an eight-year, $69.6 million contract, featuring an average annual value of $8.7 million.
McLellan also gave a handful of injury updates on Tuesday. Forward J. T. Compher is listed as day-to-day with an undisclosed injury while forwards Mason Appleton (undisclosed) and Marco Kasper (upper-body) are both sidelined week-to-week.
The Red Wings have lost both of their games to start the 2026-27 campaign.

McKenna has played left wing on Toronto's second line alongside veteran centre John Tavares and right winger William Nylander.
McKenna tallied 15 goals and 36 assists over 35 games with Penn State last season in college hockey.
Toronto has lost two of their first three games in 2026-27, including a 3-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators on Saturday night.
Anthony Stolarz will get the start in net for the Maple Leafs. The 32-year-old allowed one goal in a win over the New York Islanders last week.
