Toronto Maple Leafs
The Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled forward Joey Anderson from the Toronto Marlies (AHL), the team announced Friday.
Toronto is looking for answers with the recent news that Nick Robertson will miss significant time with a shoulder issue, and Anderson will help fill that void for the near future.
Additionally, Denis Malgin was reportedly skating with the second line in practice; the spot usually occupied by Robertson.
Edmonton Oilers
Stuart Skinner will make his fourth straight start to cap off a four-game homestand for the Oilers as they host the Minnesota Wild.
The Edmonton native is 8-6-0 in 15 appearances with a 2.86 goals-against average and .915 save percentage so far this season.
The Oilers also announced that forward Tyler Benson has been assigned to the Bakersfield Condors of the AHL after he cleared waivers on Friday.
TSN's Ryan Rishaug reports that forward Warren Foegele may be ready to go on the road trip next week, while forward Ryan McLeod is still a ways away from returning.

Additionally, Jesper Fast seems unlikely to suit up for that game either.
The Hurricanes sit in the second spot in the Metropolitcan Division, with 34 points from a 14-6-6 record. They trail the New Jersey Devils by nine points.
Seattle Kraken
Forward Jaden Schwartz suffered an upper-body injury and is listed as out for their game against the Washington Capitals on Friday.
Philipp Grubauer will start in goal for the Seattle Kraken.
Washington Capitals
Defenceman Dmitri Orlov was seen skating with the team this morning, but is not likely to return to the team in the next few days as he works back from a lower body injury.
Orlov has five assists this season in 13 games, but he has missed the last 15 games due to the injury. In 76 games last year, he totaled 12 goals and 35 points; both career highs for the 31-year-old Russian.
St. Louis Blues
Head coach Craig Berube indicated Torey Krug will likely return to the lineup on Sunday, as he's been dealing with an upper-body injury. He also said Pavel Buchnevich will need to be evaluated on Saturday before a decision for a return can be made.
