The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed forward Noel Acciari to a three-year, $6 million contract with an AAV of $2 million, according to TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun.

Acciari, 31, finished last season with the Toronto Maple Leafs after being acquired from the St. Louis Blues, along with forward Ryan O’Reilly, in exchange for forwards Mikhail Abramov, Adam Gaudette, and three draft picks.

The 5-foot-10 forward registered 14 goals and 23 points in 77 games last season split between the Blues and Maple Leafs.

He added two goals in 11 playoff games before the Maple Leafs were eliminated by the Florida Panthers in five games during the second round.

Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Boston Bruins in June of 2016, Acciari has 59 goals and 100 points in 384 games split between the Bruins, Panthers, Blues, and Maple Leafs.

Acciari is coming off a one-year, $1.25 million deal he signed with the Blues in July of 2022.

Penguins sign Eller

The Penguins have signed centre Lars Eller to a two-year contract with an AAV of $2.45 million.

The veteran forward played 84 regular-season games split between the Washington Capital and Colorado Avalanche, scoring 10 goals and adding 13 assists. He was acquired by the Avs from the Capitals in exchange for a second-round pick in 2025. He did not record a point in seven playoff games, as the Avalanche were eliminated in the first round by the Seattle Kraken.

Eller, 34, finished the final year of a five-year, $17.5 million contract ($3.5 million AAV) he signed with the Capitals in 2018.

The Rodovre, Denmark, native has recorded 163 goals and 208 assists in 954 NHL games with the Avalanche, Capitals, Montreal Canadiens, and St. Louis Blues.

He won a Stanley Cup with the Capitals in 2018, becoming the first Danish-born player to do so.

He was originally drafted 13th overall by the Blues in the 2007 NHL Draft.
