Toronto Maple Leafs veteran defenceman T.J. Brodie is considered "day-to-day" after blocking a shot in Saturday's win over the Ottawa Senators, head coach Sheldon Keefe revealed to the media on Monday following practice.
Brodie missed the practice due to the injury.
They'll make a decision on his playing status for Tuesday's game against the New York Islanders earlier in the day.
Brodie, 32, has scored four goals and added nine assists over 47 games with the Leafs in 2022-23, his third season with the club.
The former member of the Calgary Flames has missed significant time this season with rib and oblique injures.
