Jets F Scheifele ruled out for Game 5 vs. Golden Knights

Winnipeg Jets forward Mark Scheifele is still dealing with an upper-body injury and has been ruled out for Game 5 against the Vegas Golden Knights, head coach Rick Bowness said Wednesday.
The Jets trail 3-1 in the series and are in Vegas preparing to face the Golden Knights on Thursday.
Scheifele left Monday's 4-2 loss early in the first period.
Bowness had said Tuesday that he was hopeful that Scheifele would be available to return for Thursday's contest. Scheifele has not been ruled out for a return in a potential Game 6.
Scheifele, 30, has registered one goal so far in the playoffs.
The Kitchener, Ont., native tallied 42 goals and 26 assists in 81 games during the regular season.
Winnipeg will also be without star defenceman Josh Morrissey for the remainder of the series after he suffered a lower-body injury in Game 3.
