The Greek Freak has a new shoe on the way while he is in pursuit for his first ever NBA title. Nike’s Zoom Freak 3 was announced ahead of the July 1st worldwide debut (although it will not be available in North America until August).

The shoe will arrive in two colourways at launch, a black-purple combo named Project 34 and a primary orange colourway simply titled Freak.
The primary difference for the third iteration of his signature shoe is the forefront strap that helps lock in the wearer’s feet and the missing large Swoosh, that was facing backwards, from the Zoom Freak 1 and 2.

According to Nike’s press release, “The Zoom Freak 3 is built for creating space through radical downhill angles. The shoe’s tech supports the dominant physicality that defines Giannis Antetokounmpo’s style of play and helps to progress his Euro step, which the power forward uses to warp the distance between his body and the basket.”

The two-time MVP’s Bucks are currently up 2-1 in the NBA’s Eastern Conference Final against the Atlanta Hawks.
