On Monday against the Houston Rockets, Norman Powell debuted his custom ‘Strong Women’ colourway of the AND1 Attack 2.0 sneaker, designed by his mother and two older sisters.

The sneaker features a gold and purple upper, with symbols that represent Powell's various family members. "It’s a blessing to be able to to have my own shoe and my family involved in creating one,” wrote Powell on Instagram.

Powell was signed to AND1 in March, just before his trade from the Toronto Raptors. He joined his then-teammate Fred VanVleet on the brand’s roster of athletes, the Attack 2.0 being a favourite of VanVleet’s to wear in games throughout the season.
