TUCSON, Ariz. — Brendan Perlini struck twice — including the eventual winner — as the Tucson Roadrunners raced past the Manitoba Moose 5-2 on Friday in American Hockey League play.

Brandon Burlon and Michael Bunting also scored in the third period for Tucson (8-1-2). Craig Cunningham had a power-play goal in the second. Adin Hill made 40 saves for the win.

Darren Kramer and Jimmy Lodge replied for Manitoba (7-6-1), the AHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets. Eric Comrie stopped 19-of-23 shots in net for the Moose.

Tucson went 4 for 8 on the power play and Manitoba couldn't score on its five man advantages.

The Roadrunners are on a 10-game point streak with eight wins and two overtime losses.
